High Quality lighting at low price
2 of 2 found this helpful These lights exceeded my expectations in almost every way. There are several positive points:
1. They are solidly built. They do not feel like they will fall apart in your hands.
2. The tone of the lights are very white, which lights up our kitchen very well. They are much brighter that we expected.
3. The quick-disconnect plugs will make replacement easy in the future, if it becomes necessary.
4. They are easy to install. Much easier than recessed can lights.
There are also a few negative points:
1. The wires to the power supplies are very short. If you need to install the power supplies in a metal box, there is not enough wire on the plug ends to reach the power supply. I ran separate wires to each light, all to a single power supply at a central location. The lights need about 40 volts at full brightness.
2. The spring latches must be installed. They were a little difficult to install, but only took about 1 minute per light, using a pair of long-nose pliers to manipulate them.
All in all, I would certainly recommend these lights.
