Good protection
OEM perfect fit, lightweight and reasonable value compared to full retail price. No worries about putting messy, dirty objects in the back and cleaning will be so much easier.

Small package, great speed & performance
This little box exceeded my expectations. Hooked up to my monitor, turned it on, logged into my gmail account and I was running. Boots up almost immediately. Disconnected my old Windows machine and put it aside because I can do everything I need with this Acer chromebox. Note that you cannot run native Windows programs on this (e.g. Microsoft Office) however you can access the online versions of office.
Performance is great. I would have preferred a faster processor and more memory but have found that they aren't needed. Performance is quick even with many tabs open. Saved almost 50% by buying a recertified version -- excellent value for your money.
Note: the cooling fan is noticeable but not objectionable. I solved this moving the chromebox from my desktop to the carpeted floor beneath my desk.
