Not what I had been led to expect.

I would make haste slowly when considering this purchase and determine exactly what it is you want before buying.

AF FAST TRACK REVIEW
4 of 4 found this helpful The fast track by AF IS BEAUTIFUL, clean, durable and would be great for a guy's first small layout. If he needs to enlarge his layout he can do it gradually to absorb the cost.
For someone like me, got my train in 1959 at age of 9, now 65 on Medicare only, I have a rather large layout. I took up track to freshen the layout when I gave it to my youngest grandson age 7. I ordered a couple lengths of the Fast track for me to assess. I don't find anything wrong with it unless you are in my position. First, the cost would be prohibitive for me. A large layout that have to be changed, the experience to buy if you need a lot,
In conclusion, I've never seen a layout done with fast track save videos on YouTube. Maybe if I did I would just have to have it but barring a sudden windfall I simply could not afford it on my limited income. I do plan to buy a couple lengths of conversion track so I can use the 30" straights I bought so I can try them out on a siding.
I still have many questions about it but solely on cost I can't give it 100% reccomendatuon. Wrinkles
