TiVo rocks with this great cost effective product
This is the second TiVo 3 series that I have purchased. First one was new and this one used. It fits my needs perfectly as I only record programs that conflict with simulcast programs that I want to watch or when I am not home, so a huge hard drive is not a biggie for me. That said the price of these is the best bang for the buck for my needs. If you record things 24/7 (UGH) then a bigger HD may be better for you.
The only drawback is that it does NOT come with a 'learning remote' which is a plus for me. The next generation does come with one so look for a unit that sports a "glo remote" which I did not do. Good news is that they are cheap to buy.
