neat stand; great price
Easy enough to set up. The acrylic is unobtrusive and classy looking.

Amazing! Where was this thing when I was 10?
5 of 6 found this helpful The ability to play all of the games from my childhood on one console is priceless. I was afraid that the games would look crummy blown up in HD, but the opposite is true. The games look absolutely gorgeous! Streets of Rage looks like an actual arcade game! The Mode 7 SNES stuff looks amazing and crisp. The filters are fun to play with, and some of them can make the sprites look almost like vector graphics (results vary from game to game, though). I enjoy playing the games with the scanlines on as it makes it feel more like I'm playing on an old CRTV. The only thing that sucks is no lightgun support, but that's not necessarily the Retron's fault; non-cathode ray TVs simply don't work with the old lightgun technology). All in all, I highly recommend this console. I picked up the gray and purple model as it resembles the SNES that I always wanted as a child but never had.
