Does the job
This nailer did the job. The last time I installed a floor was over four decades ago and this made the nailing very simple. Installed 700 sq ft of 3/4" hickory . Only had a few split tongues due to poor placement. Found after a few that I wasn't placing the tool squarely on the tongue. Once I figured that out it wasn't a problem anymore. Had two jams, both caused by operator error as well as a few miss hits by not hitting firmly. The jams only took a couple of minutes to clear by taking the three screws off the bottom plate and pulling out the nal and the miss hits were not sunk in so I just took the nail out by jimmying with pliers. I took about ten days to install the floor myself and the cost was less than the rental would've been.
