Quality Assured-
Ordered terminated cables for replacement of bulk low loss cable that had more loss than RG213.
The LMR400 checked excellent at 50, 146 and 432 MHz as antenna feed lines. Already had TM LMR400 up the tower. Good results for the price over LRM600. This cable stripped to braid easily and the braid soldered to lugs easily - no overheating or solder "balling up". And the terminated ends were quality PL259 connectors..This is why I am buying again - assured quality.

Highly recommend as a very good broadband SDR antenna.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought the D3000 for a 30-2000MHz SDR, having to put it up over 30ft up, in a valley at a rural area. Snap to assemble in 5 minutes. Very good quality S.S. items, N connector using LMR-400. Flat 1.2 - 1.9 SWR from 110 - 1300MHz. Will use satellite region later. It has pulled in some local 29 - 30 MHz comms as well as 118MHz aircraft comms, 2M repeaters, NOAA 162.4MHz and 70cm ham repeaters. Also heard calls at 918 MHz and 1296MHz. Very pleased with the very broadband response, relatively small profile and weight. Already withstood very windy rain storm. May try a low noise low gain preamp later.

Tram 144/432MHz Ground Plane
Installed the Tram antenna this afternoon up on chimney as high as possible @35 ft. I live in a valley also surrounded by tall trees - even the hurricane winds pass over me. Instantly picked up 5 repeater stations on 2 meters; I had none before with a vertical. All antenna parts were received and seemed to be very good quality with no defects. I was expecting to find and had to pull the center conductor connector out of the top section by two inches in order to mate the two sections.
I also applied silicone sealant to the outside joining connector as is was a little loose. Assembly was easy (5 minutes), and easy mounting by one person. You can't buy the materials alone for less than the cost of this antenna - great price @$51. I highly recommend this antenna to anyone needing a good vertical for 2 meters - along with good coax feed LMR400.
