Great tube
1 of 1 found this helpful Wow, it's really great sounding tube. I threw it in the V1 position of my amp and my guitar tone was clearer with more top end, but not shrill by no means. I would honestly say more hi-fi than the mullard I had in that position. Also, it's dead quite, no hiss or hum. Great tube. I'm going to buy some more real soon.

Your Mommy Will Hate You
I used this pedal in 90's for the wall of noise sound. It acts like a big muff in the sense that it can create a giant wall of noise with midrange notes sustaining and cutting through. It has more clarity than a big muff and the bass is tighter. Using the eq, it can focus midrange frequencies kinda similar to a cocked wah but with this huge wall of distortion behind them. Add a delay and I can get Gilmourish tones. I haven't found another pedal that does exactly what it does. The HM-2 is my secret weapon. I'll buy them all.
