"Bird Angry"
1 of 1 found this helpful The original Tonto (Jay Silverheels) would be unhappy with the headdress Depp created, but as you watch the movie, it becomes part of the fun. Depp & Hammer are a great pair & seemingly "bounced off each other". The movie tends to drag at times, but after watching the blooper first before the movie, you get a great laugh from knowing what went on during the filming. Great cast, excellent special effects & better than a "Lone Ranger Purist" would expect.

Superbly Intense
Ice-T was an excellent choice as the intended "victim", with Rutger Hauer & Gary Busey being their usual bad-boy selves. Not accustomed to seeing John McGinley as a bad guy, but his acting was believable. Charles Dutton was about who you'd expect, with F. Murray Abraham & William McNamara following the herd.

Hauer doing what he does best
Rutger Hauer's character as the Russian sub captain was exactly what we've grown to enjoy of Hauer's acting: soft-spoken, firm and in control.
