an accurate, well designed shooter

This is a highly accurate, easy to cock, and with a nice trigger rifle. It's so easy to disassemble that it only takes a hammer and punch to remove a steel pin that's not under compression - no spring compressor needed. Built and engineered well inside and out. Hooded front sight in a dovetail for easy removal. I remove the sights and installed a muzzle brake and scope. Dead on fine shooter.

Among the best

True to Model Shipways long history of manufacturing ship models, the booklet of directions and plans are superb. Although there are a number of pre-cut parts, most of which are those needed to construct a building board, which the hull is built upon. The modeler can expect the continual use of hand tools to help shape and create any number of parts necessary to this boats creation. There is ample wood, and many fixtures included in the box. I'm to the point of construction that I've, finally, installed the keel assembly onto the building board. Very nice kit, having fun.
