It does exactly what I wanted.

Although it is an obsolete model, it is a functional, self contained piece of test gear. I did have to replace the original batteries, but other than that, I think it was a good value.

They work but takes patience to get there.

This is my second set of sensors. I use them on my travel trailer, gas grill, generator tank. They do require careful placement in order to function and it takes a few minutes for them to start reading after the tank is stable. I've read to use Vaseline on the rubber pad to aid in accuracy HOWEVER I think that product will deteriorate the rubber as that is a petroleum product. Instead, I used waterproof plumbers grease or silicone based valve grease. Neither of them will affect the rubber or plastic parts. Both sensors in this package had dead batteries, so if it isn't transmitting, check or replace the battery. Overall, I'm pleased with the operation even though they take a bit of tweaking to get it right. I mark the bottom of my tanks with a sharpie marker outline of the sensor position to make it easy to reinstall after I have the tank refilled.
