Doesn't really support UHD 4K, but almost. FANTASTIC for 1080 res.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Onkyo TX NR535 claims to support 4K UHD, and it does, kind of. It turns out that technically, this does not claim to support the HDCP 2.2 that is required to play ANY copyrighted UHD 4K stream - which is correct, because nothing other than upscaled Netflix shows will play 4K content through this receiver.
For an exceptional immediate example, you can use the Roku Premium+ stick and play the 4K Demo content - you'll get an immediate error on your HDMI playback TV/Projector.
