For Gun Rifle Pistol Weaver Rail Tactical Red Laser Beam Dot Sight Scope benefit

These won't fit either of my automatic pistols.

I ordered two of these Weaver Rail red dot Laser sights. When they arrived I attempted to install one of them on my HI Point 45 automatic, but it wouldn't fit. I then attempted to put it on my Smith & Wesson 9mm automatic, but it wouldn't fit on it either. The grip area of the sight bracket is too shallow to allow the flanges to grasp the Weaver rail under the barrels on either gun.
