This return Item arrived with OBVIOUS manufacturer's defect that would have been discovered had it been assembled. Waste of time.
The threads were die cast into one of the poles crookedly at the manufacturing plant. This is why it was returned in the first place. The pole that screws on to the crooked threads would be crooked, yielding a crooked lamp. You should never sell items that have been returned to the store without fulling assembling and testing to be certain everything is functional. These people were either to dumb to know this (doubtful) or too lazy to do a full inspection. They say I pay for return shipping, but this applies only if I don't like the lamp (subjectively). The seller is responsible for shipping on all items that arrived with a manufacturer's defect. One more thing.......this pink post-it was taped on the outside of the beat up box. It says it was assembled by "KC". This is IMPOSSIBLE. Nobody can assemble this without knowing it has crookedly casted threads which makes the lamp obviously crooked. This is a manufacturer's defect and they lied about assembling it. I'm sure the lights work (even though I did not bother to test them because it was a moot point). The second pole from the bottom is defective.....no if and or but about it. And, they lied about having assembled it. Will update to let you know if they refused to do it.
