Good and cheap TV solutions

Initially it was very easy to set up but because we live in France the system presented us with French disclaimers and French selection of films on some platforms. This took ages to solve this by getting in touch with Netflix, Rakuten and other sites. It's a brilliant and compact streamer but most of the channels only offer paid for content despite proclaiming 'free' films. I primarily only wanted Live UK TV as and when we travel but once again only found a paid for service offering freview channels. I was very happy initially but now with all the chargeable channels I am less so. It might be possible to find these touted free film channels but it's a complex minefield. Ray.

Good value............. but

A very good replacement remote for the Humax but with just a couple of annoying buttons. The 'I' and 'list' buttons are revered and it takes time and many wrong touches to get used to this. Also the 'OK' button is almost recessed so requires a pointed finger to press. Apart from these two slight differences to the original it does function well at considerably less than a Humax unit.

Backward step.

Typical Humax user friendly set up and use. But OH why have they changed the remote functions. We used to be able to operate the old remote blindfold but the new plan defies logic. Great for recording and storage but not so good for finding and playing.
