Great sounds easy install
First of all these speakers were installed on a 2021 Kawasaki KRX 1000 which it came with a HiFonics system. I felt that I needed to add a little more highs due to the door speakers sitting in a lower position. I had to make a choice, either spend the money on the O.E. Kawasaki rear pods or go with the DS18. I decided on the DS18 even though I didn’t see any reviews out there. These speakers are well worth it, they have good highs and they never distorted. These speakers complimented my existing sounds. The way I tested them was by moving the fader to the front speakers at high volume and gradually to the rear speakers and boy was I impressed. Also these were $200 less expensive than the O.E. Lets see how they do when we go off road.
