A good way to disconnect
These crimp on disconnects give you the flexibility to disconnect if the need arises. You can even use them to transition from one wire size to another.

Makes it easy to connect larger tanks to your portable grill.
1 of 1 found this helpful I used this hose to connect from a Coleman 2 Tank Power-Pak to the Magma Grill on my boat. Makes is much easier to connect to the grill gas control valve now the propane cylinder isn't hanging from the gas control valve. Plus having two tanks makes it possible to run the one cylinder empty since fuel doesn't run out while you are in the middle of cooking. You can also use this hose to connect to a larger propane tank.

OK but the handle in front of the grill is more functional.
I bought this since it seemed that it should have been included with the grill but wasn't. After installing it on my grill on the stern rail of my boat I found that when the cover is open it can't be easily reached - (or even seen) so the front handle on the top is far and away more useful. Also seems overpriced at $11.00. In any case it looks like it should be there and it might be more useful if the grill were mounted lower or located on a table.
