Really worthwhile accessory if you can get it used or at a significant discount. RRP is too high
This is must have accessory if you have a Surface Pro device and need to work at a desktop environment. It expands the Surface Pro connectivity to a desktop level and can easily drive a 4K monitor. There are other accessories that can do the same job, however, if you want to connect to a 4K monitor, the other docks that connect via USB 3.1 or USB-C put a strain on the CPU of the host PC as the display information is sent via USB. The Surface dock doesn't have this behaviour.
