Voltage switcher is cheap

I was unable to get the voltage switch to register 3v at all, nor 4.5v most of the time. This is unfortunate because, while not amazing, this power supply seems otherwise good quality and good value for the money. None of that matters if you can't accurately choose the voltage, the wrong voltage can damage electronics, as I nearly did to my portable CD player. Would also be nice if the plug dimensions were a little more easy to understand for people not used to measuring jacks and sockets. The reverse polarity diagram next to the switch is impossible to understand, but the switch itself functions well and is a very nice feature. Was able to use this power supply to power my 1980's Sony (negative on the inside) CD player for a few days before a better supply came by mail.
