Great compact-sized lens
This is the perfect complement for the already compact micro four thirds mirrorless cameras! Outstanding optics in a very small package! I love it.

Nikon L1 6.2 Megapixel
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought one of these for my daughter a few years ago, and like it so much that I recently bought one for myself. Slightly used, this camera is a real bargain compared to what I paid for my daughter's new just a couple of years back. The body is a little thicker than today's cameras, but I personally prefer the size and weight. It feels solid, not too bulky, and has substance to it. It has a nice-sized display on the back, the response time is not painfully slow, and with 6.2 megapixels, shoots a nice quality digital photo. The real plus is the 5x optical zoom. Few compact digital cameras today offer more than 3x optical zoom.
The only flaw in the camera that I see is the location of the SD memory card. It's in the same compartment with the batteries, so if you open the hatch to remove the card, you cut power from the camera and lose your time/date settings. The workaround for this is simply to get a high capacity 1 or 2gb SD card, and use the usb cable to download your pics! Also, I recommend that you use quality rechargable AA batteries, since like most digital cameras, this camera will eat up standard batteries.
This camera is not perfect, but the only cameras I considered over the L1 cost three times as much. For the price, I think this camera is an excellent value.

Fantastic Lens!
