Well thought out
Honeywell ADE Accenta G4 Metal alarm panel with LCD keypads
The LCD keypad makes this a better choice , the metal case is a better choice for a whole heap of reasons and if well earthed acts as a faraday cage besides giving more room for wire looms, with a nifty drop to lock in place design.
The number of programing features is adequate and not over complicated to programme, easy to wire in a Honeywell external sounder and a Honeywell voice dialler.
Installation manual is brief clear and concise with sequential diagrams OR just use the factory default setting if you don't want to programme specific functions. It is not difficult or complicated.
A good choice of additional options for specific function tailoring and detection devices are available and also reasonably priced.
Honeywell have developed their alarms and detectors by buying up established recognised manufacturers and their product range then remarketed them as Honeywell So everything has been fully tested for quality reliability prior to becoming Honeywell so reliability is built in.
