Charming and a Great Present for Dog-Lovers
This is a charming book. While it's not exactly a tome, it's wonderful, informative, and even amusing for dog-lovers and includes authentic art and quotes. I bought it for my daughter, who loves dogs and the history of dog breeds, but I think I've gotten as much enjoyment as she has. This book would make a wonderful present for anyone who likes dogs as well as those interested in medieval history and culture.

Possibly challenging but very pretty projects for dolls and dollhouses
Although this is rather an esoteric subject, this is an incredible book. I can't wait to try some of the projects. However, be forewarned, some of the projects look a bit challenging.

A nice little item at a reasonable price
Incredible little miniature sewing table. I'm using this in a dollhouse representing the 1850s, but you could use in different eras. This is really a nice little item at a reasonable price. I really hesitated between the wood finish and the "Chinoiserie" look, but finally went with the wood. For an earlier period, I would have gone with the Chinoiserie.
