Avoided fire hazard and fixed my cruise control
I have a 97 Lincoln town car and the original switch was recalled for brake fluid creeping into the connector side and starting a fire. Mine seemed ok but my cruise control did not work. Replaced it with this updated part and my cruise control works fine! That fuse was a temp fix this is permanent! Btw I had the temp fix already installed and it never blew the fuse! Don’t trust the original part even if the harness with the fuse was added! If you don’t have the updated switch I would recommend this swap. Super simple and brakes did not need to be bled. My original switch also did not seem to have any brake fluid in the connector side either. But once I pry Ed the old switch open I could see that it was all eaten up with brake fluid in the electric side. 24 years later and I was on the edge of a possible fire!

Fixed my 97 Lincoln Town Car
This is a exact replacement relay for my 97 town cars eatc. When this relay goes bad it causes the compressor to not get power and usually you but a new eatc. This was a exact replacement. It just needs to unsoldered and the new one soldered in. As soon as I replaced it I got ice cold ac again!
