Having longevity problems when installed in enclosed under-cabinet fixtures
We really like the color temperature and quality of light these LED bulbs produce but we installed them in our under-cabinet fixtures which are enclosed and maybe because of that or maybe because our light switches have a ramp-up, ramp-down feature, they have burned out or failed after very few hours of use. Pretty annoying since one of the whole points for us getting LEDs was to have very long life, hopefully never having to replace them.
In all fairness, these bulbs may not have been designed for enclosed fixtures and we haven't done a test in an open fixture or with a traditional on/off switch to see if they last as long as advertised under those conditions.

LEDs that fit in circular undercabinet puck lights, yay.
I was happy to finally find some LED replacements for our G8 base Xenon bulbs that would physically fit in our under-cabinet circular puck lights. They fit, they're a good color temperature, but they're 35 watt equivalent and since we're replacing 20 watt bulbs, they are much brighter. So, I like them but I had to find alternatives that are 20 watt equivalent or at least closer to 20 watt. I know, I should have recognized that 35 watt equivalent would have been overly bright before I ordered them.

Nearly perfect G8 LED bulbs (for us)
We love the color temperature of these LED bulbs and the brightness (lumens) is perfect. We're using them as replacements for Xenon 20 watt bulbs in our kitchen under-cabinet puck fixtures. The only problem is they are a hair too long, or too thick to physically fit well and leave room for the glass plate of the fixture to be reinstalled. We filed down one of the outer corners of the LED bulbs and that seemed to do the trick so now we're happy again.
