Weak piezo spark emitter

We have another Mr. Heater that works fine. However, the one I'm writing about here (just received) has a weak piezo spark emitter. I have to click the piezo spark button 10x's before the pilot will light... sometimes I just use a hand-held bbq lighter to speed up the process. Once the unit is lighted, it works just fine.
