Surprising good.
I'm often disappointed by this type of DVD and my heart sank when I saw the typo's on the covers. I settled down to watch them though and was pleasantly surprised. The set contains three DVDs of programmes produced for the History Channel and the first one I watched was about the Taranto raid by Fairey Swordfish of the Fleet Airm Arm. Having read several books on the subject I didn't find anything substantial to disagree with. (Unlike some DVD's where I see the same stock footage showing the wrong type of aircraft etc.) There was some very good footage of the Swordfish and the carriers they flew from.
The second DVD was about the various attempts to sink the Tirpitz. This was even better with lots of good footage including the actual attacks by the Fleet Air Arm and RAF. There was also footage and comments from the two Royal Navy VC winners who who attacked the Tirpitz in Xcraft submarines.
The third DVD was the odd one out being about desert raiders a subject which is of little interest to me. I'll save that one for a rainy day and hopefully I will enjoy it as much as the other two.

My wife loves them.
My wives these. They are a very good fit and very comfortable. Unlike tights or stockings there is no indication that they will ladder any time soon.

A Little Gem
A very nice model of a Fleet Air Arm aircraft in pre-war colours. It is complete as a naval aircraft with an arrester hook and a dinghy pack under the fuselage. The rigging is impressive on such a small model and is nice and taught.
A slight downer is that the grey panels are in my opinion too glossy and a satin finish would have been better. That is a minor niggle and doesn't spoil the overall look.
All the photo's in this review are my own.
