Really easy job!
Took 30 minutes to replace three detector’s even though the bases were different. Two screws per base and the wire connector was a perfect match because the new detector’s were the same brand as the old ones.

Great for the price!
2 of 2 found this helpful So far this reel has proved itself to be quite a buy. It has handled quite a few 3 to 8 lb trout. It has worked flawless with 17 lb florocarbon and the drag is great. I own two of these plus a model 153 and 203 Okuma.
I highly recommend the Okuma reels.

The double D's are the best!
The double D is the best dodger on the market. Here's why. It's not just the flash but the action that it adds to your presentation. If that's not enough it also acts as a planer board that moves you lure or spoon away from the boat at least 15 feet. That makes it possible to spread your lures out to cover more area, caught more fish and even fight a fish without reeling in all of the other lines. If you haven't tried it you are missing the boat!
