The Tecsun PL-380
5 of 5 found this helpful Tecsun has put out a really good series of quality Shortwave radios and the PL-380 is one of their better ones. You can buy a more expensive model than this but the excellent quality of workmanship and electronics is part of their whole line of radios. I love my 380 and have listened to station all over the globe. Radio Australia is excellent listening early in the morning! Great programming! I won't go into the technical side of the radio. There are a lot of You Tubes out there about this and the other radios of the Tecsun line. Lets just say you won't be disappointed with the PL-380.

usable
The construction of these was fine and I was able to upgrade the battery holder in my old Kenwood TR 7800 radio
HOWEVER! the wire is extremely,almost non-existantly thin! I still managed to do the soldering but the wire on
these is really cheaply done.
