The Slick band live
I have always liked this band, & there 2 lp's they released. I had been looking at some Jimmie Mack Lp's at the local used records shops in town, & picked up his 3 vinyl releases again, as I had them back when they came out, but sold off most of my collection in 1982. The musicianship & sound quality of this Cd is good. My biggest problem with it, is the vocals of Jimmie Mack. He always had that sort of Raspy voice going, which I actually liked, but on this release besides it being raspy its just plain bad. He seems like he's in the key of S singing. I can't sing, but could have on this release, cuz its just plain bad. But when your a fan, you learn to put up with stuff like that.

Hard to stay awake
Nothing to remember. Just instrumental music, but it sounded pretty much the same. Some songs had drums on them. But really mostly just elevator music, with some vocals thrown in. Pretty lame.
