Great design, but if you're not experienced in this field, it may be very difficult.
Installation wasn't too bad. I chose to remove the headliner and curtain airbags to prevent puncturing the bags while drilling holes in the drip rails. Had to do some adjustments and play around with the feet bracketry to get it to properly sit in the drip rails, but now that it's in, it looks awesome, and is very sturdy. I also trimmed up the drip rail moldings to fit over the feet, and added in some liquid gasket to prevent leaks. All of the extra work was not in the instructions, but should be done, in my opinion. I do collision repair on cars though, so I have access to all the prep work stuff. Also, pro tip, run all hardware through the prewelded nuts on the framework before trying to assemble. The coating they use seems pretty rugged, but jams up the nuts and would be a real pain to try and run in the bolt while trying to hold the parts in line.
