Large powerful battery
Battery arrived quickly and packaged well. The first thing I used it for was to supply power for my Vietnam era tank searchlight. It draws 1000w continuously at 24v, but it needs about 1700w to start up. This extra power is used to power up all the capacitors. The searchlight worked perfectly.
Other future uses I have planned involve buying a pure sine wave inverter and using it to power live music equipment. Using a second battery, I plan to set up a backup power supply for my furnace. I live in Minnesota where we often get below zero temps in the winter. My furnace uses gas, but if there's a power failure, the furnace won't run because of the blower motor. I'm thinking that two of these batteries with a large inverter should be able to power the motor.
Another point not mentioned in the listing, but was included in the manual, is that the battery can handle a surge of 280 amps for up to 5 seconds. This means the battery can produce 7,168 watts for a brief period.

Wonerful Hat
I like the hat. Felt is the perfect material. Its comfortable to wear. It stays nice and pointy while I'm wearing it. I put it on for my daughter without telling her anything about it. She said it made me look like a garden gnome. I said Perfect!
