A couple things to be aware of
In general, it's a good pump, suitable to creating a small fountain in a bird bath. There were two issues with our unit: First, the rotary control to vary flow was very stiff. I needed pliers to turn it at all. I applied some silicone lube which reduced the effort somewhat. Second, the unit must be entirely submerged to pump water. If the water level falls to expose any part of the inlet grate on the side of the pump housing, the unit stops pumping.

great exhaust fan
1 of 1 found this helpful Unit is a perfect fit for my basement window. The airflow/noise balance is good for my application. I'm using it as a exhaust fan to keep the air moving in my shop. The airflow speed is controlled by the number of fans switched on. Each fan runs at a a constant speed. In sequence, the choices are
setting # 1 = fan1 OFF + fan2 ON + fan3 OFF
setting # 2 = fan1 ON + fan2 OFF + fan3 ON
setting # 3 = fan1 ON + fan2 ON + fan3 ON
