Beautiful gems of wisdom by a Doctor of the Church

I love this compilation of letters and excerpts from the writings of St. Teresa of Avila. She was a mystic in Spain who traveled extensively throughout her country reforming the convents of Carmelite Sisters. Her no-nonsense lively approach to life and humorous observations make this book very timely.

Delightful and unusual book!

This delightful book of rhymes includes lesser-known saints too which I found very interesting. The illustrations are really lovely - all in all it’s a very inspiring book and I’ll be giving it to my 6 year-old godchild for Christmas. I think she’ll love it because I’ve been teaching her about St. Therese who’s included.
