Lots of room for DCC sound
Item was just as described. It is of course unpowered but it is going to look great in combination with a powered A-unit that I alread have. Lots of interior room to install DCC sound if I get time for that.

Make use of a 8-pin decoder where there is no socket.
This is a one-of-kind solution for installing 8-pinned decoders into locos with no ready-made sockets. I'm not all that steady with fine soldering so this harness was just what I needed.
If you are going to use it be aware the end result is thick because the wires come straight out from the plug and need clearance to make the bend.
If you have or can create the room inside your loco, this is a big help!
