The reviews said this thing is quiet…
After hooking it up to my computer, I found that I have to drive the volume so high that it brings a lot of noise into it. Although it looks like it would be great, it’s got such a weak signal that it makes it almost unusable. Even driving my sound modules into the auxiliary lines makes me turn them all the way up, and I’m tempted to run them off the headphones to see if I can get enough signal to make it usable. And don’t get me started about those mic inputs!

I was surprised
It came reasonably sharp, but with very little work, this thing has and holds a very sharp edge... It opens smoothly and fast, which required a follow up tightening of the pivot screw and a small drop of glue so it won't vibrate itself loose again (all assisted knives need this done eventually), and the light position actually isn't too bad... I think you will like it, especially for the rice (and even at double it would still be a good value).
