Good Capper Gone Bad
Alas, after 20 years of capping, my original Agatha needed to be replaced. The new one has two major problems: the plastic piston to which the metal cap housing attaches has flimsy threads (I stripped them the very first time I twisted it off); the reason this is a problem in itself … the 29mm bell housing for larger caps requires the removal of the 26 bell housing. Thus, planned obsolescence will ruin the Agatha in short order.
