Not as good as the book but Caine is quite watcheable.
DVD is pre-owned so not in pristine condition but having said that it plays ok and does not look to bad. Considering the age of the original film the cost of a new DVD needs to be much lower. In the circumstances I am content with my purchase.

A good Panasonic.
I purchased my original Panasonic DMR-BWT720 back in 2012. The hard disc was replaced early in 2020 because of corruption. The same company, based in Swansea tried to fix a problem with the dvd tray but could get the parts as they are no longer manufactured. I was lucky enough to purchase the same model from SAVEONTECHS. It is slightly different from the original but at least it is free from the nonsensical copyright obstacles. The Panasonic arrived on the date specified, well packaged with no breakages. The machine required a few hours to aclimatise at room temperature before being used. So far after almost one months use it seems to be working alright.

Not what I ordered.
Ordered Seiko Seizaiken battery because originally installed in my chronograph. Which is 6 years old. What arrived was a Renata make. Not worthwhile returning as only one ordered. Installed in watch which is working BUT lifespan cannot be confirmed at this stage. It may be OK but is not what I ordered and paid for. Not happy.
