Always dependable, convenient small case
Vulcanizing patches are way more effective than 'glueless' patch kits (i.e. stickers). If you just want to get home and throw away your tube, use glueless. If you want patches that will last for years, use Park VP-1. (also good: Rema TipTop)

Just right
My wife was sick of our crappy old solar calculator always having a hard time functioning in our dimly-lit house. Wanted a straightforward, medium-size, battery-operated calculator, this fit the bill perfectly, at a nice price.

Must-have Kirby accessory for cleaning stairs/upholstery
If you've already invested in a Kirby vacuum, definitely make sure you have all the carpet-cleaning accessories. This little jobber allowed us to foam-spray (kirby brand) carpet cleaning solution on our stairs, scrubby scrubby with a little elbow grease, dry in only 4 hours (kirby's shampoo makes a drier foam which dries more quickly than other systems) and vacuum it up. Made our filthy staircase look almost new again, and I didn't have to pay someone else to do it!
