Eagle Industries Military Canteen General Purpose Pouch, Khaki, SFLCS 2 PACK
    Oct 20, 2020
More adaptable than the old ALICE cover
Great canteen cover, more adaptable than the older ones with ALICE clips, though you have to open the flap to take a drink from it (you didn't have to do that back in the ALICE era). Seems durable, and has netting on the bottom, so if water spills inside the pouch, it drains. Also works with my Nalgene canteen shaped bottles. Bought these because I had some US GI type canteens I'd occasionally used for hiking (I"m more prone to disposable or regular round Nalgene bottles now, carried in Condor brand pouches), but wanted a MOLLE capable pouch when I took the military shaped canteens along. I didn't want to run ALICE cliips on my backpack's MOLLE bands, or on the leather belt I typically wear. The quality here is excellent. There are other choices for water bottles and bottle carriers now, but if you want to sport a USGI canteen or a Nalgene bottle in that shape, this is the way to go.
Bernina 6100 Upright Vacuum Cleaner VGC!!!
    May 23, 2017
    Bernina 6100 delivers classic functionality
The Bernina 6100 seems a throw back to earlier times. Many of the parts made of plastic on today's popular vaccuums are made of metal on the Bernina, including the floor plate under the roller. The Bernina is heavy, and as a result of its heavier construction. There may be modern designed vacuums that perform better (at least initially), but I like that a Bernina is built to last. I first became familiar with the design when a purchased an Evolution which is in current production and follows the basic Bernina design. I purchased a used Bernina on eBay to use at our second home because the Evolution met my expectations, and is still going strong two years after its purchase. I paid around $400 for a new Evolution, I paid far less for the used Bernina. They give similar performance. If you like modern bagless designs, HEPA filters, and a light frame, look elswhere, the Bernina isn't for you. If want a classic design with a robust build, designed to give years of powerful performance, and uses disposable bags, an Evolution or a Bernina might suit your needs. There's also a hose and attachment set available for the Evolution/Bernina (there's an attachment flap on the back of the vac) designed for use on bare floors, allowing you to use your upright like an old school cannister vac. It may seem a hassle to drag out a hose and attachments, but they definitely give good results, and are easy to manuever into tight spaces such as under tables or beds.
SFLCS Eagle Industries Military Pistol Mag Pouch Kydex Khaki MOLLE 2 Pack

Good mag pouch, but applications are limited.
Good quality mag pouch, but it has limited applications. Works well with Beretta 92 mags, and Taurus 92 mags. Also works with my short Sig P-365 mags when left open (the flap's too long for the short mags, but too short for the P-365 15 round mag, it might work with a P-365 12-rounder). Glock 17 and 19 mags are too fat to fit. Looks like may work with something like the S&W 59 or 69 series mags, but I don't have any to try. There are also probably folding knives or flashlights that would be a good fit, but I haven't tried any. Bottom line, like I said, its a well built mag pouch, but it's definitely not a universal fit. If you have something other than a Beretta 92, I'd suggest buying one to experiment with before buying in quantity.
