They don't make 'em like this anymore

This is an oldie but goodie. I had on old MX5 installed in my road broadcasting kit for a producer's mix of sports radio broadcasts. Extremely durable..but..after 15 years or so..started to act up. Was time for a replacement. Looked on ebay..sure enough there were a couple. I made the right choice here, looked almost new. Great little 5 channel analog mixer..no bells & whistles..just fade up, fade down.

Watch the show..read the book!!

If you're a fan of the History Channel TV reality show, "Pawn Stars", this is a MUST read. With excerpts by all the characters on the show..the book is MOSTLY written by Rick Harrison, the pawn shop's second generation owner. He writes about his troubled childhood and the troubles of bringing up his oldest son, Cory, also known as "Big Hoss" on the show. BUT..my favorite character that Rick writes about is "Old Man", as he calls him..not THE Old Man..just "Old Man". I would love to sit down and try to have a conversation with him!! He seems to be QUITE a character. Rick also lets us in on some of the quirky characters that we don't get to see on the show that are apparently regulars in the shop. AND..he writes about some of the things "that come in thru that door". Liked the book..LOVE the show.
