Digitrax DH126D
Digitrax decoders are the most reliable I have owned. The instructions are easy to understand and the decoder is easy to setup. I like the wiring connector that plugs into the decoder because the wires are less susceptible to break off the connector. I have had other decoders where the wires were soldered tonthe decoder. The wires broke offnat the solder joint. I will stay with the Digitrax decoders for all my locomotives.

Genesis Retro Motor
2 of 2 found this helpful Good quality silent motor I've come to expect in an Athearn Genesis motor. I installed it along with new drive shafts and worm gears in an old Athearn Blue Box loco. It toot a little work with a Dremel to make mods to fit the motor in but was worth it. I love the duribility of these old locos and the Genesis motor and driveline upgrade makes it a smooth runner.
