7 of 8 found this helpful With Intel bringing fierce competition in the form of their new Alder Lake cpu's, AMD Zen 3 chip prices have been reduced to all time lows. I had my heart set on a 5800x since the day it was announced but never did I expect to see a $450 msrp cpu marked down to sub $320. Thanks to antonline, I am now the proud owner of a blazing fast 8 core ryzen processor. I have only run a few benchmarks so far but the chip is performing as expected, which is to say it completely dominates my previous cpu which was an intel 4790. I am hoping to use this for the next 5 years.
