Stareing death in the face
1 of 1 found this helpful Imagine if you will, driving your classic 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis down the road and smelling gas. Then stopping and finding gas dripping on the ground from around the tank area. Sweating bullets from terror, I climbed under the car and dropped the gas tank. My relief came soon when I pulled the filler neck and noticed on the gas tank that the rubber grommet around the filler neck had disintegrated. Faster than a deranged jaguar, I got on ebay and found just the part I needed. Now getting it on was a bit tricky, but after I lubed'er up, it slid right on. Yes, it was a great fit and works beautifully. Highly recommended and yes, I'll be back. Thank you for having a part I thought I would never find.......
