Garlock Aramid fiber 3000 gasket material
1 of 1 found this helpful This gasket material was perfect for replacing a worn out gasket on a old hydraulic ram used for woodsplitting. The hydraulic cylinder is so old that the manufacturer's information could not be located, thus making a handmade gasket the only solution. Thick, high strength gasket material is not readily available from the hydraulic supply shops, they only know how to order replacement parts from a known manufacturer/model number.
