Great for thunderbolt 3 dell devices not thunderbolt 4 devices.
I got this with the intent of hooking it up to an XPS 15 9520. The port configuration is correct so it will plug in but it was designed for thunderbolt 3 laptops. The precision line up from 2019 onwards and the XPS 15/17 from the same Era. For my XPS 15 9520 it had problems supplying power and the ports would only sometimes work. As it turns out, it needs a thunderbolt software configuration in order to be used properly. Since thunderbolt 4 devices don't have this ability due to its CPU integration the device doesn't work on my laptop. Luckily, I knew someone with a 2019 dell precision so they were able to take advantage of it to its fullest. The laptop was able to take 240 watts input along with both thunderbolt inputs. The stand-by button worked as expected and was even able to power up the PC from shutoff once configured.
In totality, 1 Star for thunderbolt 4 dells and 5 stars for thunderbolt 3 dells. Hope this helps.

Works like I expected
1 of 1 found this helpful I expected this to work like an Xbox controller but with slightly different triggers and analoge sticks and was not wrong. Feels light and is made of plastic, but is very sturdy and charges my phone at a decent rate

Powerful but not quite ideal
The GPU itself is extremely powerful! There is a lot of thermal headroom due to the cooling system! The size is more compact than other eGPUs and there is a great deal of expansion but there are drawbacks. The pump is loud and is always on no matter is the laptop is plugged in or not. The PSU fan is inconsistent and also always spins no matter if it's on or not. As a dock there is much to be desired. There were some random dips in GPU FPS in certain games despite high avg numbers. I think this could be improved by using the PCB from the Sonnet eGFX 750ex to get around the constant noise and background PSU consumption. Adding some additional padding to insulate noise would also be appreciated as coil whine was very notable.
