Devil's Claw Devils Claw Root Formula *90 Tablets* May help Joint Pain Back Pain
    May 09, 2016
    Safe and effective
I would normally say how good or poor a product is from my dog's reaction. However, I stubbed my little toe very badly on the morning these tablets arrived, so I took advantage straight away. It worked. Although still swollen around the the joint, the pain was gone. Back to the dogs. I have used the powdered form in the past, and seemed pretty good in helping elderly dogs get around. Supplies dried up so I was keen to try these in tablet form. Given with food overnight was not as good as good as a small meal and tablet immediately after their walk. The dog in question has a large fatty tumour wrapped around her hind leg, and 18 months ago she did her cruciate ligaments jumping off a wall. I nearly lost her then, she was 13 and her prospects were not good. She responded to short walks and anti-inflammatory, and it was not long before she was back on longer walks. However, the weight on the leg does put a strain on all joints when she does the longer walks, which she enjoys. Hence the search for some more long term relief, as the vets anti-inflammatory treatment is not recommended long term. So the second day of Dragon's Claw, just one tablet after her walk, she slept the sleep of angels ... 5 hours! So yes it works. On that level it is highly recommended. But remember, it will not cure the underlying problem, in humans or dogs. Also, follow the recommendations. Not for those with tender stomachs. Vary the dosage in case of dogs. One or two tablets for medium size dogs, 12 hours apart, half a tablet twice a day for smaller breeds, and 3 tablets spaced apart should help the larger breeds. I am not a vet, only going on my experience. Update: Regarding the three dogs I now have on this product, I did find that a single tablet (for dogs between 22-28kg) did cause some 'soft stooling'. i now split the tablet in half, and that seems to have done the trick, and still effective with just one tablet per day. I should also add that I feed my dogs dry food with water. One of the recommendations is that it be taken with water, note. From this you can see that the strength of the tablet does need some careful management with regards to dogs, and about half of what I suggested above would seem sensible. I stress though. the only side effect was the soft stooling, nothing else. I also want to repeat that it is a pain relief, not a cure. I am careful not to over stretch the one with the tumour, and she still goes on short walks as and when she needs it. The other two dogs are a bit arthritic and these tablets just help them rest more soundly, and appear less stiff when waking. But the watch word is still 'managing' what they can do comfortably. I hope that helps?

    Google Silmarin.
It is very hard to be positive that something is working if it is preventative? You don't know whether you needed it or not, or even if it slows down a progressive ailment? What I did was look at the research papers published. It convinced me that you are on a 'no lose' situation by using it. I give my dogs 1 tablet with their dinners just on the off chance it will slow down the spread of cancer, to which dogs are very likely to get. My six dogs are all over 12 , and one has an aggressive 'fatty tumour'. Tumeric reduced it, but I am hoping this this stop any further spread. If she reaches her 15th birthday in December she will have had two bonus years. I am a pensioner too, so I am happy to try this, having lost my brother to cancer several years ago. Read the research papers across many afflictions, and you will see in blind placebo tests, and they show silymarin made a noticeable difference. Silymarin is the key ingredient of these tablets. I cannot prove it will make a difference, but it makes a lot better reading than some supplements get when tested in a similar way? Gerry Lennon

    Surprisingly, a good little workhorse.
First thing to say is, this is not a phone that has all the gadgets, but for simple needs it is a phone that does exactly what it says on the tin. Indeed, the SE T290i mobile is a gem. I needed a phone for everyday use at work. It had to be reasonable small, light, and easy to use. This was what I was looking for, but I did not know it at the time! Little things that add up to the whole is what it is all about; functionality. These are just a few instances that come to mind. With the key lock on it cannot, by accident, dial out, and it gives a clear reminder that the key lock is on, and how to proceed. Menus are all much of a muchness, and this navigates in a familiar way, 4 point pad with a central confirm button, but you are less likely to click the wrong key here. Whilst on standby, the time scrolls down the screen large enough to be seen in most light conditions without having the need to switch on. This is all probably very true of many phones today, but I love the fact that if I forget to charge it up I know it will last another full day. I love the alarm function that allows me to select what days I want it to wake me up, so I am not disturbed on days off. It is my companion throughout the working week, and at the weekend it can take a back seat until it is needed again. Like a faithful dog, not a pedigree, but a simple mut that will do its masters bidding as soon as it hears him whistle ... even if it did miss out on breakfast, or yesterday's dinner come to that?
