duty cycle

this is the 3rd transfer pump i have had to purchase. brushes, pump, accessories, never failed but the armature has failed me twice making the pump useless. the manual says a 30 min. duty cycle... i would recommend this pump never be operated more than 5 min./hr if you want it to last. because of the explosion proof government regulations, the heat from the armature has no way to get out of the pump. it starts cooking itself when you turn it on.
