A Gem of a Book

When Jesus Christ counseled "Turn the other cheek," he was proposing peace over retaliation. This little book is the how-to manual on how to accomplish that feat. Pema Chodron writes in a way that is clear and practical. I will read this book over and over again. This is a gem of a book.

Perfect design, scale and weight

Engaging writing brings new interpretations on baby behavior

This is book is a highly readable report on the development of babies as afforded by recent innovations in imaging technology and creative experimental design. It blows away much of the biases and mythology about infants, and provides new perspectives on the amazing achievements of the very young. While it's easy to read, it is packed with information that make me want to read it again.
