A £45 scales worth no more than half of that.
It's inaccurate but that's not the biggest problem exactly. The biggest is that it's *inconsistently* inaccurate: under the exact same conditions, the reading might start drifting (typically downwards), so that you keep adding weight and the display stays the same. Then when you restart it and weigh again, you get the "real" (presumably) number.
Another minor annoyance is that it takes ages to initialize (the interval between the time you press the on/off button to the time the scales is ready is absurdly long).
I bought this because I had a good experience with On Balance in the past, and it's a name I recognize. But my previous (unknown brand) scales of the same price that after many years of faithful operation gave up the ghost was far better.

Great value for money
Fit perfectly on my Philips Impact, are lightweight and at a fraction of the price of original parts.
