Affordable and functional.
I bought a pair of these for a tracked RC vehicle project. I also have the Hobbywing program card which made it very easy to configure the ESCs.
Works exactly the way I needed. Calibrating the ESC for the controller (in my case I use arduino) was also easy and I kinda like that you confirm ends by pressing the button.

Cheap current and voltage meter.
I don't know how accurate these meters are but at least they can be calibrated to the level you'll be interested in.
Thick wires are for the current. Thin yellow for measuring voltage and thin red and black for the powering the device itself.
If you want to use the same power source for the meter that you are also measuring don't use the thin black wire and instead measure current from the 0V lead and connect thin red wire to somewhere that has 4-30V and the yellow to what point you want to measure voltage from (it will use the thick black as other lead). You'll burn the meter if you try to measure current from higher potential and connect the thin black to a lower potential.
